About Vicki

Vicki has been a commercial pilot since 1973, a CFI since 1974 and she flew corporate and for the commuters till being hired at Southwest Airlines in 1992. She was a member of the interview team there for seventeen years until retiring in 2012. While there she participated in new hire mentoring, prospective pilot mentoring, and the Adopt a Pilot program. She has also participated in PPLI (Professional Pilot Leadership Initiative), CISM (Critical Incident Response Team; Southwest Airlines), member of 99’s, ISA, and WIA.

She currently serves on the Arizona State Industrial Advisory Board. She received her bachelors and Masters degree from ASU in the social sciences with an emphasis on communication skills. Vicki is a current CFI, CFII, MEI, and holds types in the Beech 1900, Beech 300 and Boeing 737.
